School might usually start in September, but your child’s learning needs can change at any time. K12 makes it easy to transfer during the middle of the school year. It’s always the right time to find your stride.

1. Submit an application

Create an enrollment portal account to choose a school and fill out an application.

2. Upload required documents.

Gather your supporting documents and upload them to the enrollment portal. These may include a birth certificate, proof of residency, medical records, or transcripts. For any questions, please contact an enrollment consultant.

3. Get approved.

While your application is processed and approved, your child will remain at their current school.

4. Start your learning journey.

Congratulations! School teachers and staff will work with you to ensure your student has what they need for a successful year.

Plan for the transfer by organizing your paperwork. Before you enroll, gather supporting documents such as a birth certificate, proof of residency, transcripts, and medical records.
