Does your child belt out ballads in the backseat? Choreograph TikTok-worthy dance routines in the living room? Juggle, act, beatbox, or play the ukulele like a pro? It’s time to take that talent from the kitchen floor to the main stage—because the K12 Talent Showdown is officially on!
What is the K12 Talent Showdown?
It’s the ultimate nationwide talent competition for K12-powered students in grades K–12. We’re talking real prizes, real performances, and a shot at stardom LIVE on stage!
Who can enter, and what can they do?
If your child is enrolled in a K12-powered school, they’re in! Whether they’re in kindergarten or getting ready to graduate, there’s a spotlight waiting for them.
There are three performance categories:
- Musical Performances (singing, instruments, etc.)
- Creative Performances (dancing, poetry, monologues, comedy)
- Variety Acts (magic, gymnastics, juggling—you name it!)
Help your child choose the performance category that fits their talent. They don’t have to be perfect. They just have to be themselves. This is all about encouraging them to be bold, expressive, and proud of who they are.
What’s up for grabs? Some seriously cool prizes.
This isn’t just any talent show—36 finalists will be invited to perform LIVE on stage in the final round. Yes, your child could be one of them!
And that’s just the beginning. Once the spotlight hits, 24 students will walk away as winners:
- $500 First Place Prize for one winner in each grade band (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–12) in every category—that’s 12 winners total.
- $250 People’s Choice Award for one fan-favorite in each grade band and category—another 12 winners!
That’s talent recognized and rewarded.
