Get to Know Isla—A finalist in the K12 National Cook-Off!

Say hello to Isla, one of the top five student chefs in this year’s K12 National Cook-Off! A talented 9th grader from Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville (TVAH), Isla brought both heart and flavor to the competition.

Isla stood out in a challenging virtual round and earned her spot in the finals, held at the Kitchen of Purpose in Arlington, Virginia. There, she turned a surprise set of ingredients into two amazing dishes—all under pressure and in front of the cameras!
