Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy (PSPVA), a collaboration between Pine Springs Preparatory Academy and K12, is a tuition-free online public school experience serving grades K–12 for the 2025–2026 school year.

Our Story

PSPVA is open to full-time, North Carolina residents. We offer a personalized approach to education, a full suite of academic and school support services, career and college prep, and adherence to required state testing. We are dedicated to inspiring and empowering North Carolina students through personalized, at-home learning.

How It Works

With online learning, your child can learn at home or wherever there’s an internet connection while enjoying the benefits and support of Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy’s (PSPVA’s) program. They’ll complete a mix of online lessons and offline activities. Our North Carolina Licensed teachers are committed to helping your family succeed with online learning.

Scholarship Opportunities

We believe every child deserves a great education and are ready to help you get the financial aid you need. As a North Carolina resident, you may be eligible for financial assistance to help offset tuition through the Opportunity Scholarship Program or the Education Student Accounts (ESA+) Program. In many cases, scholarship awards cover the full cost of tuition at Coast to Mountain Preparatory Academy (CM Prep)!

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only.
